step down for him. says he wants a move back to the capital for his family. I wonder if he regrets rejecting the wanderers for everton now?

To be fair to him, when he signed he probably was the best forward they had, but now with Yakubu and the emergence of both Vaughan and Anichebe he might aswell move on.

He had a good year with Palace when they came up but he hasn't lived up to the expectations of being a 20+ goal a season striker. Personally, I was happier we got Anelka instead.

Yeah, i were much happier when we got Anelka and even happier now ive seen what anelka did with us even if Johnson would of stayed with us longer. Can see him being a decent player for Fulham though, dont think they've had anyone prelific (sp?) for a while now, last one i remember was Saha so if Johnson can start scoring again, even though it is a step down, it'll potentially do wonders for his career.

I think they've bought well this summer, could surprise a few people next season.

Hey Danny, I'm not having a pop at you or anything but I see that you had a problem spelling a word - I don't know if you knew but when you get to the point of posting what you've just written, that on this site there is a spell check option, which is really easy to use.

I'm dyslexic so I nearly always need to spell check otherwise you would probably think that I post in Welsh or something!

As for Johnson, I'm like Manny - I think Fulham seem to be adding to their team really well - (not so sure about Andranik though!)  They did even better to survive than we did last season - just hope they run out of money before they sort their defence out!

That's ok fella.

I'm not saying that you have to spell check or anything - just that the options there if you want it.

Gotta disagree with you there mate, I think they've bought a lot of average players again like they did last season.

Pantsil, Zamora and Teymourian are hardly going to set the pulses racing. I can't see those kinds of players pushing Fulham up the league.

But its an improvment on what they had last year and aslong as a player is improving a team then surely its a good buy. I wouldnt say all their signings have been brilliant but i think they've made a few good uns.

Yes it's an improvement but not a good enough one in comparison to the buys that teams have made around them. I still think they'll be routed down near the bottom this year.
