Nigel Reo-Coker from Villa now linked.

http://www.eatsleepsport.com/bolton-wanderers/megson-touted-for-villa-park-raid-975516.html?

Recent public bust up with O Neill, and i'm sure we've been linked with him a season or two ago?

I reckon he's worth a punt?

Young lad, Prem experience, I think Megson could do worse?

Isn't it widely reported he's got a right attitude on him?

VASSELL EYES BOLTON ESCAPE ROUTE
DARIUS VASSELL hopes Bolton will end his Turkish nightmare in January.

The former Manchester City striker's summer switch to Ankaragucu took a lot of people by surprise.

But the move has since turned sour as he was turfed out of his temporary accommodation this week because his cash-strapped club couldn't afford to pay the bill.

It has left the 29-year-old in limbo and he is now seeking a move to Bolton.

Omg Vassell, I SO hope this rumour is true, he's fcuking quality! He would definitely get us back into Europe with his lethal finishing and excellent flair and link-up play.

Absolute masterstroke from the Ginger one if he pulls this off.

He always seemed to score against us twice a year and go unnoticed in the other 36 games of the season!

A bit of trivia - Vassell made his England debut in 1992 against Holland along with Wayne Bridge and a certain Michael Ricketts!

I wonder what ever happened to Wayne Bridge?

Darius Vassell! Why the hell not. 29 years old to me, as a striker, is a prime age. Ability-wise, not seen him for a couple of years so can't comment. But he always knew where the bag was, and exactly how to put the ball in it, which is a nice change from our current crop. I was all ready for making big on Sluffy's typo there but you went and ruined it 267 Sad Ricketts would have been about 12 in 1992?

Vassell fits the most important criteria for one of our signings in that he used to play for Villa.

It's a perfectly logical conclusion, Archie.

I don't deny either, but I still demand an apology.

That's not true you're forgetting about the Times Top 50 rising stars that Gartside found on the back a sofa.

We are being linked with Charlie Adam of Blackpool - a good young player IMO.

Feck me, the quality of our "targets" is at an all-time low.

I remember chanting "We're Gonna Sign Wayne Biggins, Sign Wayne Biggins" on the Burnden Terrace. Now it's some second rate Championship tart called Charlie  Roll Eyes
