Jo off to Turkey it seems.  Another quality striker leaves Citeh to ply his trade in Byzantium  Undecided

Maybe we can sign him in the summer and get him playing like with Nic  Grin

Weiss and Holden!

Thought we'd banged out of a move for Holden and he'd signed for Braga?

Bolton have been linked with a move for Bosnia international Safet Nadarevic.

The 29-year-old is with Turkish club Eskisehirspor, and is due to talk with Bolton on Monday.

He said: 'My manager told me that next Monday I should travel to England to have a conversation with Bolton. But of course I do not want to jump to any conclusions, even if a deal does seem quite close

I still think we need a striker, I am still not convinced about Klassnic and SKD is still not playing well at all,

Pompey are allowed to loan players again now, so that may well scupper Spurs trying to get dispensation from FIFA to send O'Hara to us.

Was awesome for Anderlecht and good for Lens.  He's never fulfilled his potential though, but he'd add pace and tricks to the front-line.  given his talent he should have been a top class player, but his injuries screwed him up a bit.  I'd have him on loan for certain but we can't loan him, can we?  We have Klasnic, Robbo, Weiss and (it seems) Wilshere.

The rules on loans are I believe different for players from foreign leagues and our own.

We can only have two players from our own leagues at any one time - there is no money involved (I believe) but agreements with paying the players wages between clubs are not unusual.

For players from other leagues a temporary 'transfer fee' is made - we 'buy' the player for the loan period - and thus I don't think there is any limit on how many players we can have that way.

Apparently we have 'bought' Robinson - just that we don't pay for him until next season.

Interesting.

Well he'd be a good addition, even though his finishing is dreadful.  Something a bit different to what we have.

I noticed that when I wrote it, I was wondering who would highlight it  Grin

Dindane is a dreadful finisher, but he does seem to get on the end of a lot of chances.  He's also quite creative when used wide.  Could do far worse.

We have to sign him.  We already totally failed to get Wilhelmsson to play properly, we have the chance to do the same with his old Anderlecht buddy; it's fate  Cool
