We're in such a mess now I wouldn't know where to start.

We can't have any money after spunking it on players we didn't need and won't use!

I'd imagine we'll sell a few and bring in a few young English champonship players.

From what I've seen, Tuncay hasn't played much for Stoke so far.
In a funny way, I'd rather not have him than have him and not play him (imagine the stick we'd be giving Megson).

I understand that point: it's a good one too.

He'd be perfect for our midfield.

He can pass it in a straight line over 5 yards - something we can't do.

Only problem being he is 32 and happy at a club who are doing much better than us.

Shame that, I bet we could have taken him when he left Liverpool, then Spurs, then Charlton......

I saw a few weeks back that we were linked with him and i hav just seen this on the sky sports website.

Quote
Manchester City striker Benjani insists he has no intention of leaving the club in January.

Reports had suggested that he was a New Year target for Bolton boss Gary Megson, while former employers Portsmouth have expressed a desire to take him back to the South Coast in the past.

He told Zimbabwean weekly The Standard: "I am not going anywhere and I am going to put up a fight to ensure that I get my place.

"I still have a contract with Manchester City.

"I have had injuries. And every player goes through this phase. It will soon be over.

"I am not bothered about which club is after me because I am still a Manchester City player."

Don't need him. He's too similar to Davies and Klasnic. Oh, did I mention he's also a steaming pile of shíte?

Megson would do what he has done with mark davies and Lee, stop them playing and running at the oppositon. The ginger fanny would ruin his career.

That'd be fantastic, but there's no way Wenger would let one of his promising youngsters come here and forget how to play in order to 'put a shift in'

Plus Wenger hates us

We've GOT to go for Victor Moses. Been saying it for some time now. He's on fire for Palace, the bigger clubs are starting to take note but if we came in with a £6m bid, even if we sold him in a year's time we would get at least double that. Quality player!

I've heard nowt but good about this lad, though never having seen him play myself. Talk is rife that there'll be bids in January from bigger fish, although, of course, unfortunately for Moses he'll have Simon Jordan and Colin Wanker ramping up his value.

I guess with a debt of £64 million we won't be buying anybody - before we sell a few first anyway - and I don't think there's much of a queue for Elmander, Vaz Te, Hunt and Shittu!

I agree, scored a brilliant overhead kick last weekend.
