I disagree...... some people dont need to make up personas to show they have achieved.... some, just by being themselves... it obvious what they have achieved......!! Smiley

Why did I think you were an attorney, Josh?  I must be mixing you up with someone else.

It sounds like a boring company to work for (but it really is interesting) but I work for State Farm Insurance Company in Administrative Services.  State Farm is one of the biggest home and auto insurers in the USA.  They are a great company to work for; paying well and giving a pension, a retirement scheme, medical/dental/vision and very good vacation and sick time.

Like Danny just started college, I'm at Runshaw in Leyland doing a Sport Develepment BTEC Diploma.

In October, I start my coaching qualifications doing the FA Level 1 badge at the Reebok.

Also as a part-time job I'm coaching on a saturday morning down at Wigan Cricket Club for the Wigan franchise of Brazilian Soccer Schools (BSS), which is a well known coaching organisations doing some really great stuff.

Jay-Jay endorsed it a few years back!

Hopefully after college I will be off to Uni doing a Sports Degree or coaching with BSS full-time.

I went to Runshaw a few years ago.  I'd say good times but they weren't particularly. More boring than anything.

I like it to be honest, enjoying the studies because I'm interested in the course and enjoying the freedom more and meeting new people!

Law professor.
Started out an idealistic human rights lawyer = broke.
Got married and serious, worked for the gov't in D.C. = good money and benefits, poor standard of living (in D.C.).
Sought to avoid the grind by retreating into academia. Turns out academia is its own grind. Meh. At least my commute is reduced from 1 hour 15 minutes each way to a 5 minute walk.

Got a real kick out of the predictor league copyright thread. Was interesting to see the way copyright works in England. Americans are usually shocked by such things, especially intellectual property suits and defamation suits. So much different than in the U.S.

My basic assessment (not an official opinion, don't put an weight on this, and other CYA phrases) is that the disgruntled posters are right. There are obvious ways to avoid infringing, and a suit on same should hardly pass muster. But the mods are also right. And my sympathies are with them. As a lawyer, I've seen what money can buy. It would cost virtually nothing for the Prem League to file a nuisance suit against a site like this. (By nuisance, I mean a lawsuit not intended to win in open court but to effect another purpose, i.e. shutting us down, etc.) So, the game simply isn't worth the candle.

Anyway, fun to see what everyone's up to in the real world.

Someone at work was printing it out, or there's actually a facility to see who has printed a thread? Why would anyone print this shíte?
