Bolton have completed the loan signing of Southampton forward Grzegorz Rasiak.

The Poland international joined The Saints from Tottenham in 2005 and has scored 25 goals for the south coast club, including a tally of eight so far this season.

Capped 37 times by his country, the 29-year-old comes with a big reputation infront of goal and Bolton boss Gary Megson hopes the move will pay off.

"Grzegorz is a big, powerful centre-forward who knows where the back of the net is," Megson told the club's official website.

"He will bring more firepower to the squad and allows us extra attacking options."

Not a bad signing really, but not as good as I'd hoped. He should do until the end of the season, then we need to spend on a quality striker.

In all honesty, we should have done a lot better, especially after selling Anelka THREE weeks ago.

I know we were after Eidur and he had his reasons to turn us down but I'm disappointed.

Hopefully he'll prove me and a lot of others wrong and be a good signing.

To be fair, I wouldn't mind him but definately not for £7million.

The main thing that's impressed me with Megson is he's looking to bring in a lot of English players. Something we thought we'd never see again after Fat Sam.

True, but give me Jay Jay, Youri or Hierro over McCann, Taylor or Jloyd anyday of the week

Can't put it any clearer than that. Was an honour to see those in a Wanderers shirt

What we SHOULD be doing is having BOTH the Taylors, Nolans and Guthries in, as well as the big name Hierro's, Youri's and Okocha's!

The ones we should be getting rid of are the Braaten's, Alonso's and (dare I say this) Andraniks!!

Andranik is out of contract in the summer and I can't see him signing a new one because he never plays!

Alonso (unconfirmed), I think has been sent back to Spain and as for Braaten, not up to the grade!
