Who do we all think it will be? The obvious choice is Elmander and thats where my money would go but we're still being linked with that Gomis even tho he's jus signed a new contract at St Etienne.
Being completly unrealistic id love it too be one of the Russian strikers from tonight or people have been going on about the likes of Podolski. Like i say, completly unrealistic but we can all dream until its more than just a fax in Gartside's pocket!
So whats everyone else's opinion then?

Peter Crouch FACT! Megson likes the English players from what we've seen so far and I wouldn't rule out a bid for the lanky FREAAAKK! In all seriousness, Elmander may be the obvious one, but it's probably to boost season ticket sales with the early purchase deadline next week. The Russian's Arshavn and Pavlyuchenko will attract BIG clubs this summer.

i think he will do what jussi did and stay now we stayed up they all seem to like leaving a sinking boat but soon as we stay up they start to think about staying and i think it could be a striker that we aint expecting maybe a shock is coming i think cause too be fair it could be any one from europe so theirs alot of strikers out there the news papers think its those two but since when have they ever got it right

I wouldnt be disappointed if it was Gomis, but after signing a new contract recently then i think the fee might be too high, signing him will be a gamble no matter what the fee as we dont know how he will fair so hopefully it would be a sensible price. The price linked with Elmander is 5mill which, although sounds untrue, is a reasonable price for someone unproven in the prem, plus he is in the last year of his contract i think.

Now i wonder if anyone could possibly make Rasiak look like a world beater using youtube, just need to find the guy who made braaten's i guess, he's fooled everyone once.

YouTube lies! Even Braaten looked like a world beater. yes there is many videos on youtube of rasiak the world beater. 1 called ronaldo vs rasiak http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kvyqscyBUw&feature=related still chances yet that rasiak could be the mystery stiker. also, when he Gartside said 'He is Europe at the moment, not sure where, but he is definatly in Europe', does that mean he actually does not know his geographical whereabouts? lol true. but cant be any worse than Rasiak, and at the age of 21, can only get better Didnt know he was only 21, with that i think the risk might lessen as he will have the chance to improve. lol probably, cant wait for the contract talks, Gartside in Oman, no idea where the player is and the agent will probably be Peter Harrison knowing this club's history with the fanny. Good news is tho that Al Habsi has seen sense and is now represented by his brother so god knows which Al Habsi Harrisson was on about floggin.
