Beginning life on 8th February 2005, Burnden Aces started out on the MSN Groups network as a free linking service to the latest Bolton Wanderers news from around the web.

The summer of 2006 saw us make the step away from that network and become the first 'Independent Bolton Wanderers Website', which was adopted as our tagline and is still used to this day.

After a brief stay with 'Blogger', we began to use a .co.nr domain and as our popularity increased, the decision to purchase the Burnden Aces domain was made in November 2007.

Our rise was officially recognised in March 2009 when we were named 'Bolton Wanderers Fanzine of the Year' by the Football Fans Census and we have since seen the site move from strength to strength through the growth of our interactive fans forum.

We regularly appear in online publications such as NewsNow and Maxim, and also appear often on various daily newspapers and club websites around the country.
