Bolton's central defensive duo of David Wheater and Mark Beevers have been named in the Sky Bet League One Team of the Season.
'Wheavers', a nickname by which they have become known by supporters, have been a solid unit at the back for the majority of the campaign, leading Wanderers to the joint-best defensive record in the entire EFL - along with Newcastle United - having conceded just 32 goals in league competition all season.
But it isn't just their defensive attributes that have been recognised. In addition to that, Wheater has netted a career-best seven goals so far, while Beevers has also chipped in with a healthy return of four in his debut year at Macron Stadium.
The award was decided by nominated local media representatives, with Marc Iles from The Bolton News given the nod by Wanderers.
