The first month of the 2013/14 Championship season has come to a close, so here's how the Prediction League looks at the end of August.
Bazzabomb and Fourstripes, who was our winner last year, share the top spot with nine points apiece, while Manny is placed in third.
The two top have an identical record after the opening five games of the new campaign, having correctly predicted the outcome of three of Bolton's matches - and identifying the right result on two of those occasions.
Manny's record of correctly predicting the outcome of four Wanderers matches beats those at the top, but they have a two point gap due to their perfect score predictions - two, compared to Manny's one.
boydell79 is in fourth, and trails Manny due to an inferior total of perfect result and correct outcome points. He is, however, the only person in this year's game to pick out the correct first goalscorer in a Wanderers match so far this season. boydell made the prediction that Darren Pratley would score the Trotters' first goal at Burnley, earning himself five of his total of seven points to date.
burnden and Orange complete the top-six, with six points, Jimbo and ReebokMatt both have five, while arvinjadwa, largehat, mpatel1997 and southo71 all have four. southo71 joins Manny in correctly predicting the outcome of four Wanderers matches so far, the best record in the game so far.
In total, 21 people have registered at least one point and we still have 41 games to go.
