Joe McKee will join Scottish First Division side Greenock Morton when his Bolton contract expires this summer.

After three years at Burnley, McKee joined Wanderers on a free transfer last July but failed to make a single senior appearance for the club. A combination of injuries, lack of form and a change of management didn't help his cause and he will link up with his new side on July 1st.

Owen Coyle, who managed the player at both Burnley and Bolton, is thought to have recommended the Scotland under-19 international to Morton, having played alongside manager Allan Moore during their playing days at Dumbarton.
