Adam Bogdan has earned the praise of his manager, with Dougie Freedman believing the Wanderers goalkeeper is the best in the Championship.
Bogdan produced a Man of the Match performance as ten-man Bolton claimed a 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest on Saturday and silenced some of the doubters, who had criticised him in recent weeks.
Speaking after Saturday's game at the City Ground, Freedman believed the all-round performance of the 25-year-old Hungarian goalkeeper was as good as anything he has seen in the division.
"I can't think of a better keeper in this division," Freedman told The Bolton News.
"His saves and organisation were great. He came for crosses and took the pressure off us.
"I thought Adam was outstanding. That was the best performance I have seen, not only from a goalkeeper I have worked with, but from one in this division.
"We worked hard in training because we knew we would have crosses coming in from 30 yards out because of (Chris) Cohen and (Andy) Reid. "They certainly took it on board and did it to a tee."
